The LDC Team
Ms. Cooper is the founder and president of LDC Training.  In 26 years of public service, Ms. Cooper served as a Police Officer, a Criminal Investigator, an EMT, and a Communications Officer before an on-duty injury caused her pre-mature retirement.  A Bachelor's Degree program in Organizational Training provided the foundation for the LDC Training Company.  Years of physical therapy lead to her interest in the study of Physical Education and Personal Fitness Training.  She is currently certified through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and has supplemental studies in the areas of Athletic Training, Youth Fitness, Sport Psychology, and Exercise Science.

T.West, Vice President
Todd West is an accomplished athlete and ultra-marathoner.  His broad range of experience includes Cycling (MTB, Road, and BMX), Running (5k-50miles), Off-Road Racing (Motocross, JeepSpeed), and Watersports (Wakeboarding, Kayaking).  Todd has long-studied endurance training and understands not only the physical aspects of goal attainment but the nutritional requirements which accompany any endurance event.   His specialty includes designing custom programs for athletes of all levels.

Trainer John E.

John Espinosa has been on the LDC Team since October 2009.  Not only is he certified through the International Sports Science Association as a Personal Trainer, but John is also trained in the Culinary Arts.  We are excited about offering classes in fitness and nutrition utilizing John’s skills and training.  John’s training philosophy… “Fitness is not a trend, it’s a lifestyle…my passion.”   John is excited about meeting new clients and looks forward to helping them achieve their fitness goals.

Trainer Cary E.

Cary Escobia is a Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sport Sciences Association (ISSA). He is also certified in CPR/AED through the American Heart Association. Cary is a Belay Certified Rock Climber. He enjoys helping clients reach their goals through one-on-one personal training and group instruction in and out of the gym environment. He believes that fitness is a lifestyle.  His own training regimine includes Rock Climbing, Judo, Weight Training, Rollerblading, Hiking and Beach Volleyball. Cary is experienced in designing programs for people of all age groups and fitness levels.

Deborah K
Deborah is our primary fitness trainer in Orange County.  She has four years of experience as a weight-loss consultant with a major international weight management company and extensive experience in business and business management with a specialty in motivational speaking.
Deborah is currently teaching Fitness Bootcamps through the local park and recreation departments while studying for her Personal Fitness Trainer Certification through the International Sports Sciences Association.  She is health-oriented, client-focused, and genuinely enjoys working with people.  Her background in nutrition, physical activity and motivation make her an ideal member of the LDC team as she truly enjoys teaching well-rounded fitness programs which include cardio, resistance training, and nutrition. 
As a busy mother, Deborah believes you can incorporate fitness into everyday activities such as cleaning or even shopping and is eager to share her customized routines, like The Couch Potatoe Workout, with our clients.  Deborah says, “Be active and have fun with your family and friends,”  and your training will never become boring or feel like a chore.

Trainer Sina M.
Dr. Sina McCullough holds a bachelor's degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, and a doctoral degree in Nutritional Biology and Exercise Physiology from the University of California at Davis .  For the past six years, she has formulated nutrition supplements for various nutraceutical companies.  Additionally, she has worked with athletes from both UC Davis and UC Berkeley to improve athletic performance and recovery through diet modification.  Sina is a nationally certified Personal Trainer and a Specialist in Performance Nutrition.  She has been a competitive athlete since the age of 10.  And, she recently founded the NutriliteTM Mountain Bike Team, a 20 person squad competing in the Southern California State Championship Series.

Extreme Weight Loss

Ray Hunting is a Certified Personal Trainer accredited through the International  Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).   Ray became certified after coaching himself through an impressive, natural loss of over 150 pounds, making him ideal to present our programs on Extreme Weight Loss.  Ray believes in working hard, playing hard, and making fitness a fundamental part of one’s life.   His philosophy on weight loss is that he can help anyone who’s READY to be helped, but motivation must come from within.  Ray says, “I’m ready when YOU are,” and he will be here when YOU are ready to reach your fitness goal.

Cheryl Z

Cheryl Zwarkowski is an accomplished athlete and ultra-marathoner.  Her background includes running, cycling, bodybuilding, and training athletes to reach their fitness goals.  Cheryl is a frequent adviser and training partner for LDC Training and her input regarding endurance training is well respected and integrated into many of our training programs.  She is co-creator and primary trainer of our Beach Body Boot(y)camp program.  Cheryl can be contacted at info@LDCTraining.org

 


Culinary Specialist Kristen DeGroot

Kristen De Groot is a graduate from California State Polytechnic University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Business with a minor in Culinary Nutrition.  She specializes in creating menus and diets for special groups and focusses on food pairings and healthy dieting.  She is currently enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu, a culinary school in Pasadena and works with LDC Training in the development and presentation of nutrition-based training for all groups.

Dr. Brad Hannon
